DAY 3 INSANITY

Today I felt really good, I think this program has a great impact on my state of mind and energy...Even if I have difficulties to get up and climb stairs because my calves sore as weel as behind my thighs and my arms lol...This morning I had to modify the push ups, I did mine on my knees...I do not have to stop generally during the workout but I am sometimes slower that the people on the dvd lol so I do not know if it is because they ar ein a better shape or because I am a bit lazy but I would say first choice because my heart is pumping hard lol.

Day 2 insanity

Hello!

I am disappointed during lunch I wrote a long post and I have deleted it by mistake...anyway.

This is my story and the challenge is huge...you'll see!

I am 26 years old and have had problems with food for a long time now, food is my way to comfort me when I am stressed, sad, not happy, happy... It is kind of a love and hate story between us lol.

But as we all know, it is not a good thing, we are supposed to eat to live and not the other way around...

Since I left my parents 7.5 years ago...I put on 20 kilos...gradually...I was not happy about the weight gain but obsessively thinking about it made me unhappy and uncontrolled...

I have reach a new hit at the beginning of 2012 and decided to bring back the old, the REAL me...

Not the sad one, always thinking about her weight and feeling miserable, wasting her life, the relationship I was into and everything basically...

When you do not feel good, it is a poison which is killing you slowly, really slowly but surely... I HAVE to make this change, I want to love myself, respect myself even if I am not perfect, and live my life as I deserve it! If I do not do this for me, who will? Nobody...

I have begun to pay attentionto what I was eating one month ago and doing cardio 3 times a week at the gym, I was seating in by bed saturday and saw this ad on the TV about Insanity, I thought it was great, so I had a loo online to find some reviews and people seemed to be quite happy, even if it seemed really hard lol. So I decided to buy it and do it...

I received it yesterday and I did the fit test...

It was really hard, especially the pushups and power jumps part (I have really weak muscle in my arms and I have never been able to jump high in my life...hopefully I will improve this :) )

To be honest I was so disturbed when doing the fit test, I don't really know if my counting is accurate...i mean it is more or less, but I do not think it is completely accurate... How can you count when giving your best it is really hard :D

My challenge is to loose 2 dresses-trousers sizes or 3... and to be able to wear soem old clothes that I have almost never been able to wear because of my continual gain weight...

I would say that the "best" part of my body is my tummy because it is a little bit flat compared to my arms, legs and eveything else basically (except my breasts ahah... ). But still I have to work my abs out because there are not that strong, so i need a global weight loss but would really like it to be on my legs (thighs, knees, calves), my arms and my tummy, and I woul love to keep the only positive point about my gain weight : my chest lol. I'd like to tone everything...what a challenge!!

 

As you can see in my pictures I have a lot of work to do to meet my goal...so please follow me and help me :)

 

I will try to follow the diet as explained but it is going pretty hard because I do not really like meat except of chicken breast and also I like eggs, fish and some cheese but usually not the light ones lol. I LOVE carbs... silly me... So I will try to keep my diet at  1500 cal even if regarding to Insanity calculation I should eat 1900 but I prefer to try like this before...too scared of putting  weigh on again lol.

My diet will not be perfect but I try to do my best for it to be sustainable.

I will try to post a picture of what I eat everyday as it is easier for me than writting.

Also, I have some problems with the diet book because I do not know the size of the cup I should use... :/

Anyway, today workout was hard...

Espacially the abs part on the floor I hate having to go down do some push ups then go up and go down again...this is so hard... But I really hope and I NOW I will improve myself :)

I did the workout this morning at 6 am and my calves and inner thighs are painful, I hope I will be able to performe day 3 tomorrow without too much alteration in my performance...

Please be aware that if I make a lot of mistakes it is because I am French so english is not my first language...apologies in advance :)
